Bormes-les-Mimosas & Le Lavandou

Polyglot Club is delighted to invite you to an exceptional day on Saturday, June 20, 2026, to discover Bormes-les-Mimosas & Le Lavandou.
Immerse yourself in the elegance and charm of the French Riviera by exploring the flower-filled village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, ranked among the most beautiful in France, before enjoying the sunny beaches and turquoise waters of Le Lavandou. A getaway blending nature, history, and relaxation under the Mediterranean sun!

This excursion will be conducted in both French and English by your polyglot tour leader.

 

PROGRAM

 

1. Departure from Aix-en-Provence

Avenue Henri Mouret, next to the Partouche Casino.

(See meeting point details below)

- Meeting time: 7:00 a.m. (departure no later than 7:15 a.m.)


2. Pick-up in Marseille

Meeting point right next to Saint-Charles train station, near the entrance of the Saint-Charles Faculty of Science (Place Victor Hugo).

- Meeting time: 7:30 a.m. (departure no later than 7:45 a.m.)
 

3. Bormes-les-Mimosas

Discover Bormes-les-Mimosas, a picturesque village with flower-filled streets and colorful facades. Ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, it will charm you with its Provençal atmosphere and breathtaking views of the sea. Stroll freely through its cobbled streets, admire the medieval houses, and let yourself be enchanted by the peaceful ambiance of this jewel of the Côte d’Azur.

We will have lunch together in the village (picnic or recommended restaurants).

Optional activities:

  • - Guided tour of the village: Fall under the spell of Bormes and explore its architectural and historical heritage, from its founding to the present day. Enjoy a curious and picturesque walk through the alleys of the medieval town, discovering anecdotes, hidden gems, and exceptional monuments. 

  • - Museum of History and Art: A remarkable cultural site located in the heart of the medieval village. Housed in a 17th-century building, it offers a 2,400-year journey through time with immersive augmented reality experiences.
    Self-guided visit duration: approximately 1h30.
    Price: €8.50.

 

4. Le Lavandou

Next, head to Le Lavandou, a renowned seaside resort famous for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy some free time to relax on the beach, take a swim, or stroll along the lively port, lined with cafés and artisan shops.

Program:

  • - Walk along the Chemin des Fontaines and Espace Fleuri – Discover the local heritage by following a route dotted with historic fountains and lush green spaces.
  • - Seafront promenade – Walk from the town center to La Favière, following the coastline and enjoying breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
  • - Discover the most beautiful beaches – Admire the fine sandy beaches of Le Lavandou: the Grande Plage in the town center, Plage de l’Anglade, and Plage de La Favière.

 

5. Drop-off in Marseille

Arrival around 6:30 p.m. (approximately).


6. Return to Aix-en-Provence

Avenue Henri Mouret, next to the Partouche Casino.

Arrival around 7:00 p.m. (approximately).

You can come alone, as a couple, with your family, or with friends.

A deposit of 9 € is required at booking, the remaining balance of 30 € is to be paid on site.

- NORMAL rate: 59 €
(valid between June 18, 2026 and departure time).

Without insurance, you can transfer your ticket to another person for free by providing us with their name.

Late Arrival

We reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals arriving late for the first departure of the bus at the meeting point.

Non-Payment

We also reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals who have not paid the balance before the bus departs.

Participation of People with Disabilities

To ensure the safety and well-being of all our participants, we recommend that people with disabilities be accompanied by a support person throughout the excursion. Your safety is our priority, and by informing us in advance of your specific needs, we can ensure the best possible experience for you. If participation is not possible for safety reasons, a full refund will be offered.

Participation of Minors

Minor children must be accompanied by their parents, legal representatives, or guardians to participate. No waiver can be signed by our guides. If a minor arrives alone, we will not be able to allow their participation in the excursion, and a full refund will be offered.
