Italy: San Remo and Dolceacqua
The Polyglot Club community invites you to an unforgettable getaway from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, September 20, 2026, discovering the Italian Riviera: San Remo and the medieval village of Dolceacqua.
Head to Italy for a weekend between the sea, palm trees, and hilltop villages, in a truly Mediterranean atmosphere.
We will enjoy San Remo, with its elegant seaside promenade and city center, before heading to Dolceacqua, a true medieval gem known for its stone bridge, picturesque narrow streets, and charming terraces.
Dolce vita vibes, Italian cafés, gelato, and photo opportunities guaranteed.
This excursion will be conducted in both French and English by your polyglot tour leader.
PROGRAM
From Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, September 20, 2026
1. Departure from Aix-en-Provence – Saturday, September 19, 2026
Avenue Henri Mouret, next to the Partouche Casino.

Meeting time at 7:15 a.m. (departure no later than 7:30 a.m.).
2. Pick-up in Marseille – Saturday, September 19, 2026
Meeting point right next to Saint-Charles train station, near the entrance of the Saint-Charles Faculty of Science (Place Victor Hugo).
Meeting time at 8:15 a.m. (departure no later than 8:30 a.m.).
Day 1 – Saturday, September 19, 2026
San Remo – seaside, city center, and hotel check-in
Arrival in San Remo in late morning or early afternoon (around 12:30–1:00 p.m., depending on traffic conditions).
Free time to enjoy the seaside promenade, the city center, cafés, and the historic old town. Hotel check-in in the late afternoon.
Free evening for dinner and to enjoy the Italian atmosphere at your own pace.
Day 2 – Sunday, September 20, 2026
Dolceacqua – medieval village and return
After breakfast and hotel check-out, departure in the morning for Dolceacqua.
Free discovery of the medieval village, stroll through the narrow streets, iconic stone bridge, Doria Castle, and scenic viewpoints over the valley.
Extended free time for lunch in the village (local restaurants or free time).
Departure from Dolceacqua in mid-afternoon (around 3:30–4:00 p.m.) for the return to France.
5. Drop-off in Aix-en-Provence – Sunday, September 20, 2026
Avenue Henri Mouret, next to the Partouche Casino.
Arrival around 7:30 p.m. (approximately).
6. Return to Marseille – Sunday, September 20, 2026
Arrival around 8:00 p.m. (approximately).

To be fully refunded, you must purchase the cancellation insurance option available on our ticketing platform. In the absence of cancellation insurance, you can still transfer your ticket to another person for free. Late Arrival
We reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals arriving late for the first departure of the bus at the meeting point.
Non-Payment
We also reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals who have not paid the balance before the bus departs.

Participation of Minors
