Enchanted Escape: Lavender Fields, Verdon Gorge, and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie
The Polyglot Club Association is proud to invite you on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for a superb linguistic and cultural day (departure in bus from Aix-en-Provence):
Program: Throughout the day, we will visit a lavandin producer, travel along the magnificent Lavender Route during the peak blooming season, offering breathtaking landscapes. We will enjoy water activities at the turquoise waters paradise of Lake Sainte-Croix and discover the listed village of Moustiers Sainte-Marie, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
This excursion will be conducted in both French and English by your polyglot tour leader.
PROGRAM

1. Departure from Marseille
Meet at 6:45 am (departure no later than 7:00 am)
Meeting point is right next to the Saint-Charles train station, near the entrance of the Faculty of Sciences Saint-Charles (Place Victor Hugo).

3 - Lavender Route
Then, on the way to Lake Sainte-Croix, our coach journey will take us along the picturesque 'Lavender Route' across the Valensole plateau, promising an enchanting spectacle with its lavender fields in full bloom. Allow yourself to be swept away by the captivating beauty of these sprawling purple expanses, offering an exceptional and fragrant panorama throughout our journey.
4 - Lake Sainte-Croix (stop for 3 hours)
The lake with its turquoise waters is a wild and magical place! You can have a picnic on the beach and pedal-boat or canoe on the lake.
5 - Moustiers Sainte-Marie (stop for 2 hours)
Moustiers Sainte-Marie, set against the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence cliffs, is a picturesque village renowned as one of the most beautiful in France. Its charm lies in its cobblestone streets, ancient architecture, and an emblematic star suspended between cliffs, inviting visitors to explore its rich cultural heritage and unique character.

Late Arrival
We reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals arriving late for the first departure of the bus at the meeting point.
Non-Payment
We also reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals who have not paid the balance before the bus departs.
Participation of People with Disabilities
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our participants, we recommend that people with disabilities be accompanied by a support person throughout the excursion. Your safety is our priority, and by informing us in advance of your specific needs, we can ensure the best possible experience for you. If participation is not possible for safety reasons, a full refund will be offered.
Participation of Minors
Minor children must be accompanied by their parents, legal representatives, or guardians to participate. No waiver can be signed by our guides. If a minor arrives alone, we will not be able to allow their participation in the excursion, and a full refund will be offered.
