Grasse and Perfume Factory Visit
The Polyglot Club community invites you to enjoy a friendly and sensory getaway on Sunday, May 3, 2026, discovering Grasse and its world of perfume.
Head to Grasse, the world capital of perfume. In spring, Provence is filled with fragrances, and the city’s narrow streets offer a true postcard setting. On the program: a visit to a perfume factory to uncover the secrets behind perfume making, followed by free time in the historic center to stroll around, enjoy lunch, and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
This excursion will be conducted in both French and English by your polyglot tour leader.
PROGRAM
1. Departure from Marseille
Meeting point right next to Saint-Charles train station, near the entrance of the Faculty of Sciences Saint-Charles (Place Victor Hugo).

Meeting at 7:15 am (departure no later than 7:30 am).
2. Pick-up in Aix-en-Provence
Avenue Henri Mouret, next to the Partouche Casino.
Meeting at 7:45 am (departure no later than 8:00 am).
3. Grasse
- Visit of a perfume factory in Grasse
Start the day with a visit to an iconic perfume factory in Grasse, the world capital of perfume. Discover behind the scenes of perfume creation: raw materials, extraction techniques, blending of essences, and fascinating anecdotes about the art of perfumery. A unique sensory experience. Possibility to purchase products directly on site.
- Grasse historic center and panorama
Continue the day with free time in the historic center of Grasse. Stroll through picturesque streets, discover shaded squares and small artisan shops, and enjoy beautiful views over the Grasse hinterland.
Free time for lunch in the city center, with many restaurant options or the possibility to have a picnic according to your preferences.
- Free time and end of the day
Enjoy some final free time to further explore Grasse, take souvenir photos, or simply relax with a coffee on a terrace.
Return in the late afternoon to Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.
4. Drop-off in Marseille
Faculty of Sciences Saint-Charles (Place Victor Hugo)
Arrival at around 7:00 pm.
5. Return to Aix-en-Provence
Avenue Henri Mouret, next to the Partouche Casino.

To be fully refunded, you must purchase the cancellation insurance option available on our ticketing platform. In the absence of cancellation insurance, you can still transfer your ticket to another person for free. In this case, please inform us of the name of the person to whom you have transferred the ticket.
Late Arrival
We reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals arriving late for the first departure of the bus at the meeting point.
Non-Payment
We also reserve the right to refuse participation to individuals who have not paid the balance before the bus departs.
Participation of People with Disabilities
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our participants, we recommend that people with disabilities be accompanied by a support person throughout the excursion. Your safety is our priority, and by informing us in advance of your specific needs, we can ensure the best possible experience for you. If participation is not possible for safety reasons, a full refund will be offered.
Participation of Minors
Minor children must be accompanied by their parents, legal representatives, or guardians to participate. No waiver can be signed by our guides. If a minor arrives alone, we will not be able to allow their participation in the excursion, and a full refund will be offered.
