Immigrants don't have the same reasons to leave their native country for the United States; everything depends to the age, their hopes and "with who they leave" .
For example, we studied two texts where were presented the situation of 2 persons who immigrated in New York.
Kayla , from Cuba , arrived in New York because she followed her parents.
She feels good in her new life and she doesn't want to go back to Cuba but she's legal immigrant .
Miguel , from Mexico came to New York because he would like to study in an American University in the aim to find a good job .
He wants to live the American dream.
