TRIP DETAILS
- Meeting Location: Meeting in Milano Centrale @ 9:30 AM or Bergamo Airport @10:30 AM on Friday.
- Finishing Location: Bergamo Airport (3:00 PM) or Malpensa Airport, Milan (5:00 PM) on Sunday.
- Note: If you are arriving earlier or departing earlier / later, then please do let us know in the travel details sheet so that we can make relevant arrangements on our end.
- Hiking Difficulty: Intermediate – hiking at relaxed pace with multiple break times on well-marked paths, minimal elevation, sure-footedness & good fitness required

Day 1
Drive from Milan to Riva del Garda with a lunch stop. Enjoy a thrilling Via Ferrata Cascate Rio Ruzza climb, followed by check-in, dinner, and evening rest.
Day 2
Hike the scenic Via Ferrata Fausto Susatti overlooking Lake Garda. Spend the afternoon relaxing with optional sightseeing or a boat ride. End the day with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Climb the adventurous Burrone Giovanelli via ferrata through a narrow gorge. Drive back to Bergamo and Milan Malpensa Airport with mountain memories and a sense of accomplishment.
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
Day 1 – Friday
- 09:30 AM – Meet at Milano Centrale, drive to Bergamo Airport
- 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM – Drive to Riva del Garda, short lunch break
- 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM – Via Ferrata Cascate Rio Ruzza (C/D, ~400 m elevation gain, 2.5 hours total)
- 6:30 PM – Check-in at accommodation, dinner, and rest
Day 2 – Saturday
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast
- 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Via Ferrata Fausto Susatti (B, ~520 m elevation gain, 5 hours total)
- 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Free time, optional boat ride or sightseeing
- 7:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay
Day 3 – Sunday
- 7:30 AM – Breakfast and check-out
- 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Via Ferrata Burrone Giovanelli (C, ~620 m elevation gain, 3 hours total)
- 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM – Drive to Bergamo Airport
- 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Drive to Malpensa Airport, Milan

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
- Free cancellation up to 7 full days before the start of the trip. After that, cancel up to 5 days before the trip to get a 50% refund.
- If the event is cancelled by Urbanature Travel (UNT), you will get a full refund (excluding any airfares), unless you have purchased a flight inclusive package directly with Urbanature Travel (UNT) in which case you will get a refund including the flights.
- Please note that the program, as well as the venue is subject to change due to extreme weather conditions, as well as to the characteristics and size of the group.
- Urbanature Travel (UNT) needs a minimum of 5 participants for this trip to take place, else we may cancel this trip.
- UNT reserves the right to cancel the trip, modify the route, change the accommodation or re-schedule hikes and without prior notice.
- UNT is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage or personal injury that occurs during the trip.
