At Chatterbox, we ensure that you will engage in conversation with every participant! Through a variety of interactive activities, you'll have the chance to connect with multiple individuals in both one-on-one settings and small group discussions.

Using the insights gathered from your registration form and your interactions, we will equip you with the tools to form groups, undertake activities, and meet new friends who share similar interests. Each event's languages and themes are tailored to the attendees, ensuring a personalized experience.

We believe in allowing you the freedom to choose your conversation partners! Rather than assigning seats or groups, you can engage with those you resonate with, while also enjoying opportunities to mix and meet new people in different scenarios throughout the event.

Bring a friend who has never attended Chatterbox before, and you can participate for FREE! Just bring your guest to the Registration Desk when you arrive, and speak with a Small World representative to have your fee waived! (The first-time attendee will pay the standard fee.)

Small World's flagship language exchange, Chatterbox, is one of the largest language events in Nagoya, celebrated for its excellent organization! Participants come from all corners of the world to practice English and Japanese, make new friends, share knowledge, and gain inspiration from talented individuals.

NEW CONNECTIONS (新たな繋がり)
We guarantee that you will have at least one conversation with every participant! Through various engaging activities, you will connect with many people in one-on-one or group settings.

SHARED INTERESTS (共通の趣味関心)
Based on your pre-event survey and conversations with others, we will provide tools to help you form groups with participants who have similar interests, enabling you to complete activities and make new friends. Each month, languages and themes will be chosen based on the attendees.

MORE FREEDOM (より自由に)
Instead of assigning you to specific seats or groups, you will have the freedom to choose your conversation partners based on who you connect with best. We’ll regularly mix participants to give you multiple opportunities to engage with others in different scenarios.
