Hello, Dobry den, Bonjour etc. etc.
it has been a while since I started thinking about a projetc I should try to give a go to.
However, I definitely need to know whether it is feasible or not. I suspect you should all be able to let me know what you think about it: and, above all, you are all welcome to contribute in any way you can, in any way you want.
So here's the idea: do you think it could be a good idea to create some sort of books exchange forum or something like that? Let me explain what I mean.
Basically the idea is to give the chance to people who learn any language they want to learn to have an access to books written in that language.
Let's take an example to make my point clearer.
Dina lives in Serbia. She wants to learn Swedish, while Christa lives in Sweden and wants to learn Serbian.
They both find it hard to find books (in Swedish in Serbia or in Serbian in Sweden) to practice the language they want to learn -- be it literature or children's books.
On the forum we would create, they would be in touch to send books to each other (one or two or more, let's let them decide!), which is good, insofar as by doing so they would also have the chance to read books by writers they may not have heard of.
What do you all think about it?
Do you think it could be of some use?
Your points of view are more than welcome. So are your contributions.

| ErwinVUAugust 2010 It seems an interesting idea. The price of postal packages can be a bit a hindrance for long distances, but perhaps some voluntary air travellers can help. |
