  • My Food Theory

  • I know little about cooking , nevertheless I have been sticked to a strict theory about what should be eaten and what should be not.
  • It is shameful to admit that once during a business trip I have spent several months eating nothing but scrambled eggs and stews cooked by myself .
  • Ridiculously, even then, I would not allow myself to eat any food that was unfresh , or greasy ,or too salty. The theory, which has poisoned me for so long is this: less fresh food contains less nutrients, such as vitamins or proteins ,and the consumption of oil and salt would do harm to body by speeding up the ageing process.
  • Tracing back the roots of this theory, I must mention two historical events: the first is the book I have read about ancient Japanese buddhist , who would always eat very little Sushi made with extremely fresh ingredients.
  • The second is that I used to consume too much oil and salt during my university years.
  • Now, I believe I will always choose light food, and preach the benefits of a healthy diet tirelessly.
