It rained heavily last night and the little stream near my house became a big river.
It burst its banks and the fields around were full of water in a while.
Fortunately, the water didn't reach houses in our village.
However, my village old bridge was destruct and went with the flow of water.
The bridge was hundreds years old and we are all sorry to lose it.
It might be that the old bridge has became an important part of our village, attached to our village since it was formed hundreds years ago.
We are building a new one soon, but it will never be the same.
