The Scream School is the first educational centre in Russia which is oriented for complex training of qualified CGI specialists in the field of film, advertising, animation, television, game design and media industries.
The School of Computer Graphics Scream School along with the British Higher School of Art and Design, Moscow Film School and Moscow Architectural School MARCH are members of a consortium of independent educational institutions representing first-class education in the sphere of creative industries.
Scream School was established due to shortage of multifunctional specialists who’d be meeting the requirements of the media industry due to lack of systematic and professional approach in learning computer graphics and the gap between the process of education and practical needs in the industries.
High level of education at Scream School is provided by its strong connection with the industry, which helps to establish the process of education in accordance with its requirements.
Every program includes a set of theoretical disciplines (subjects, course units) and profound hands-on experience on real projects.
We also pay great attention to the practical fields needed for every speciality.
Scream school provides the opportunities to master the profession regardless of your current level of knowledge and constantly develops and improves the educational programs.
At the moment there are three basic types of programs:
- Fundamental programs in the following fields: Animation, Visual Effects, Motion Design, Game Graphics, Concept-Art (2-year programs); Compositing, Game Design, Architectural Visualization (1-year programs);
- Winter and summer workshops (4-10 day programs) for advanced training
- Corporate online courses on software suites (3-month and 6-month programs)
Course tutors of Scream School include leading CGI-related specialists, who have worked on famous Russian and international projects in animation, motion design, game design and post-production sphere.
They want to pass their experience and to turn their students not only into media industry professionals, but also into its active innovators.
On the basis of the portfolio formed during the studies and the results of the final exams the best students are given a chance to do an internship at the biggest Russian studios – partners of the school.
Many Scream School graduates are already working in the industry and taking parts in the biggest projects in Russian and in the world.
