Correções

I began to study Mandarin Chinese three months ago, but I'm not taking any formal program yet, I'm studying in abcsofchinese.com, where you get taught the 400 basic components of the Chinese writing system (a.k.a. radicals).

Also, I have a Chinese friend with who I maintain conversations over Skype (we both communicate in English), I always show him all the radicals I've been learning and he teaches me the right pronunciation of each one and also teaches me more radicals, vocabulary and expressions.

At the moment, I think I've mastered (recognizing, reading, writing) about 50 radicals, but that's not all, I've also mastered a few characters (which are combinations of radicals) such as the pronouns, the conjugation of the verb to be (which is 是 ["shì"]), and basic expressions, here are a few: 你好 = nǐhǎo = Hello 你怎麼樣 / 你怎么样= nǐ zěnme yàng = How are you?

我很好 = wǒ hěn hǎo = I am fine 謝謝/谢谢 = xièxiè = Thank you My goal for the end of this year is to talk with my Chinese friend in Mandarin Chinese, not like a native speaker (that would be ridiculous to expect) but like a foreigner person learning diligently. 謝謝！再見！
