My opinions about a traffic in Saint-Petersburg.
I'm living in Saint-Petersburg, very big (for Russia) city.
Population of city about 5 million, and every family has a car.
When SPb was built, people drove through the streets by carriage, and width of street now is a little.
Therefore, most half of street at central (historic) districts is one-direction.
But yet, city has very hard (long) traffic jams.
So, if you will visit to SPb, I wil recommend you to use the underground.
It's faster, than bus or taxi.
