We can conclude by saying that racism is expressed in very different ways through visual arts.

I really think that directors and scriptwriters should try to convey messages against racism, because their works are destined to a very large part of the population.

But directors and scriptwriters are not the only one able to do it: writers, as Lillian Smith with his famous book Strange Fruit which was later adapted in a play and in a short film; poets, as Langston Hughes with his poem Harlem, singers, as Nina Simone with Mississippi Goddam,... can also convey strong messages.

What is really important, according to me, is not just to say to people that racism is bad, is to explain to people why racism is bad, because otherwise, they will never fully understand why they should not be racist, and they will never fully change.
