Conclusions
The method of evaluation of the efficiency of structured packings and quality of liquid’s distribution on the surface using dimensionless quantity X is proposed.
Range of stability flow regimes of liquid film flowing on the surface of the new structured corrugated packing with the slits is shown.
Rational flow rate for the new packing correspond to Reynolds numbers from 575 to 765.
30% of irrigated liquid reflow to the opposite side of the new packing element in this range of flow rate.
