Liquid from the inlet nozzle was flowing of single droplets when the flow rate L < 4.5 ml/s.

Liquid from the inlet nozzle was breaking on many splashes and droplets on top of the packing element at the moment of contact the jet of the fluid with the packing element when the flow rate L > 25 ml/s.

The liquid jet was bumping on top of the packing element and the liquid jet was transforming into a liquid film with certain width in the range 4.5 ml/s < L > 25 ml/s.
