One day, i took the train on my way home.
I saw many controllers of train tikets around a traveler who was angry and i wanted to know what's happend.
So, i asked the girl who was satting in front of me.
She removed her earphones and told me "Sorry, i don't speak french"
I answered: "I am sorry to disturb you ...
I wanted just to know what's happend with this traveler".
She smiled and told me that he didn't have his card of transport...
So, we talked a bit more and i was particularly pleased to see that i was able to hold a conversation in english.
Then, i asked her if she was interested in a linguistic exchange because i am looking for a native speaker to improve my spoken english skills.
Then, she told me that it is amazing how we meet, because she was thinking about languages before i get on the train.
She comes from New York and if i understood well, she works in France and wants to learn french.
She was very nice and sympathetic!
The train arrives at her station and we didn't have time to exchange hour E-mails or phone numbers.
So, i got off the train with her and decided to take the next one; she lives in five minutes from my home.
It is the ideal distance to meet regularly!
She noted my E-mail on her telephone and we continued to talk together.
I made many faults of grammar and sometimes i looked for my words but i always managed to express my ideas.
It was a funny and amazing experience.
I was happy to met her and said to myself that is the beginning of a great linguistic exchange.
When i arrived at home, i checked my gmail inbox and realized that i gave her a wrong address mail!
And i said to myself how stupid i am!!!
Then, i m giving myself an other opportunity here with the polyglot club. ;-)
