My name is Li Minyan and you can call me Mia.
I was born in Guangzhou.
I am sure you know Guangzhou, which has been developing at an incredible pace but definitely not as international as Hong Kong.
There are four people in my family.
My parent have retired at home and my elder brother is a piano teacher.
Though I learned how to play piano with him at the early age, I just regarded it as one of my hobbies.
I have extensive hobbies, such as drawing, reading, hiking and play guzheng.
Let me talk something about my study.
I graduated from Guangdong Ocean University in 2012 and then I took a gap year which is not a normal choice for Chinese graduates.
During this period, through reading books, communicating with friends, working and thinking deeply, I gain a better understanding of myself and now have a complete faith that I can devote myself to a career in preschool education.
Maybe others would confuse that why I decide to take this education course in your school and be a preschool teacher in the future, because my major was ocean technology, a major of biology.
It seems that my former major is kind of a departure of eduction, but I believe that they have a great linking.
If you are interesting, I am really pleased to have a further talk on this point later.
It is the gap year provided me with an opportunity to grow into a person with self-discipline, confidence and love of learning.
I am looking forward to study in your university, having more chances to learn from all kinds of people.
I think it will be anther journey of spiritual growth.
(I think I could have a more all-round development because of the broad-based, creativity-inspiring education provided by your university.)
