We had both positive and negative feedbacks of different demonstration projects: General positive attitude and high satisfaction rate regarding to the electric car: In some cases, participants asked for buying their experimental EV after the project.

They found these cars, usually very user friendly and comfortable.

We observed that the recharging practices “get into used?” easily after a while (or participants get easily in used to the regular recharging habits (practices)?).

They recharge their cars even if they are quite sure that their battery level is highly enough for their next trip.

The demonstration projects emphasized the inquiries about charging infrastructure development.

Respecting the electric carsharing services, the success rate of these services varies from a city to another according to many local parameters and also the different technical economic structure of the service.

The daily use rates of cars are different and some of these services aren’t economically justified.

In some cases, users’ survey shows that some multi-motorized households provided with such these services are ready to abandon their second car.

But in some other cases, when the operator of the service can not adjust efficiently the service to the characteristics of the service zone and its transport demand, the use rate is really low.

An important question is to find if such these services generate their own demand of transport or they contribute only to satisfying the existing demand of mobility.

It’s important to find out how the service should be integrated in a whole transport system of an area considering the characteristics of different present transport modes and the modal share.
