The aim of the abolition of the English in the 2013 curriculum is to holdup the sense of nationalism.

However, there are some parties who have different opinion about the abolition of the English subject in elementary school.
Some of the student’s parents do not agree with the abolition.
Their reason is because the English language is international language.
It should be learned as early as possible, so they won’t be shocked when they enter the global era.
It is not necessary for them to learn grammar and structure.
They can learn English by fun or by playing, so they will not feel bored.
If it is erased Indonesian people will be left behind with the others nation because English is a means of International communication.
The impact of the abolition of the English can give advantages and disadvantages simultaneously.
The government should be wise enough in deciding national education policy.
The wrong policy will bring national setback.
