Authors suppose, when liquid flowed down from the back side of the packing element after intensive irrigating of the back side, this liquid engulfed fluid film from the front side of the packing element to the back side of the packing element through the holes.

The liquid started flowing from the front side of the packing element to the back side of the packing element through the every holes under fluid film.

In the four regime of fluid film falling dimensionless quantity X was 0.3.

Authors supposed, that after irrigation of the back side of the packing element liquid start to flow to the back side of the packing element through the every holes.
