Throughout this century the role of traditional skills as well as our lifestyle has significantly changed.
The majority of people considers that there is no need to keep some skills alive because we live in the century of technological revolution.
Personally, I think that we should improve our modern skills on the base of traditional ones.
The modern technology has changed our live enormously.
Increasing the productivity of work and saving out time, technology has become substantial part of our lives.
The first thing that should be noted, is that hand labor was substituted for technological labor.
This significant novation allowed economies of countries to develop faster than in the past.
Nowadays, work in plants and factories has become easier and more productive, while traditional skills became less valuable.
However, there is no equipment that works with no people`s management, hence, people`s skills will be useful and needful forever.
During the technological revolution, traditional skills were developing in accordance with modern requirements.
Moreover, traditional skills improved with the help of technology.
For instance, in present tailors are able to produce more qualitative and beautiful clothes using sewing machines.
Needless to say, due to technological development even our lifestyle has changed.
Operating different appliances we can do house choirs faster and save time for other duties or family members.
Taking all these points into consideration, I would say that development of technology stimulates traditional skills to progress, but not to die out.
Machines, equipment and appliances is operated by people, hence, our skills and lifestyle will always improve and develop in accordance with the requirements of modern life.
