in the past 30 years, the market in yuanchun has changed in terms of surroundings and the products sold there. first, my dad told me that the market was used to be outdoor and small-scaled, and it was not moved into a big building until 20 years ago when the guangzhou government started to pay attention on people's diets. the government has built up a two-floor building and attracted many business activies to the yuanchun market. now, it's clean and well-organized, and more convenient than the outdoor one, especially in the rainy days. second, compared with the former market in which fruit and vegetable planted by villager were sold, and meat was not allowed to be saled freely, the market now had various food, salmon from Japan, orange from America and lamp from Australia. these two great changes not only encourage the consumption but also upgrade people's living standard.
