Estepona. First part.
Estepona is a popular tourist place, specially during summer, owing to Mediterranean climate and its beaches.
Together with the tourism, home construction has been an important pillar for the local economy.
Additionally , it also has a small and limited fishing and agriculture activity.
Estepona was already inhabited during prehistory.
Flint tools and dolmens has been discovered along the course of the stream Vaquero, west of the town.
