What equipment you need to have for raising ants ?
To raise ants, you need :
1.
- an artifical anthill. 2. - a colony. 3.
- food for the ants (you can't give them fruit from the supermarket because they contain pesticides). 4.
- and a heat lamp to maintain the anthill at the optimal temperature.
In the world there are around eight thousand species of ants, I will present you 3 famous species.
Some species of ants :
1.
Colony Lasius Niger, nicknamed "the black ant" is one that you can meet in your garden. 2.
Colony Messor Barbarus lives in the south of France in the Mediterranean Region, With their large pliers, they can easily dig into the dry ground. 3.
Colony Crematogaster Scutellaris lives in the south of France in the Mediterranean region, too.
They are easily recognizable by their red heads.
