In Morocco we celebrate different events such as Imichil festival , Aid Al fitr .... but the perfect event for me is Aid el Adha .

So what's Aid El Adha ? and how people celebrate it ?

Aid El Adha is an religious event , every Muslim is obliged to buy a sheep in it , but it isn't necessary for poor people ,because the goal of this event it is not the sheep but it's to remember every Muslim how Ibrahim ( a messenger ) was ready to sacrifice his son Ismail , and also how the son was ready too to be sacrificed as an act of submission to God's command , before God then intervened to provide Abraham with a lamb to sacrifice instead .

The greater Aid is celebrated each year , is falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah ( Islamic calendar ) and lasts for three days .

Moroccan people were glad to celebrate Aid El Adha , for them it's an important event .

In its morning Muslims go to the mosque to pray the prayer of the Aid , after coming back home they slaughter the sheep in the Islamic way .

the GREATER AID is an opportunity to visit family and also friends , to enjoy with them and to help poor people .. that's why I prefer it , it's an event that make every one happy and glad to celebrate it .
