Hello everyone, my name is Nicolas and yesterday I watched Divergent which came out in France 4 days ago (I do not know if it is the same in the Usa or in an other English speaking country).

This movie is about a next future where war destroyed the most part of the world.

Then, 5 factions have been created in order to keep peace and not to make war again.

There are the erudite (the intelligent), the amity (the peacefull), the dauntless ( the brave), the Candor ( the honest) and the abnegation ( the selfless) Everything was alright till a girl, called Beatrice, then Trys found out she was a Divergent.

That is to say, she is not destined to belong to only one faction but all of them !

Then the day where she must choose her faction ( that will be a definitive choice) She chose the Dauntless ( much to the annoyance of her parents who belong to the abnegation) Then she will work hard not to be given up and become a factionless (which are repudiated) or to be killed because her divergence is dangerous.

Then she will fall in love with Four , one of the leaders of the Dauntless.

She figures out she has been manipulated by the government, her and all her crowd.

But because she is a divergent ( and so Four), she is not able to be brainwashed and she will destroy the empire.

The movies is based on a three-book story.
