The article reviews the main ways to reduce the clathrate crystals of hydrates agglomeration in pipelines of the natural gas.
The authors note that the most effective and least costly way to prevent hydrate formation in pipelines is heating of the natural gas before reductions of the pressure.
The paper shows that the existing heaters of a natural gas have a number of serious drawbacks.
For example: high pollution of the environment and the complexity of controlling the degree of heating when the flow rate of the natural gas is changing.
Alternative designs of electrical heaters of natural gas connecting to AC electrical grid 12 volts are proposed.
The proposed designs of heaters have a high efficiency and convenience of heating control.
They are safe and pollution free.
The method for sizing them is shown.
