Today I'm going to explain you one of my best voyages at one my favorite cites: New York.
The voyage take place on April of 2011.
We take a delta A-330 airplane at Barcelona and we were at N.Y eight hour later.
This was the longest day in my life due to the jet-lack.
When we arrived there, we spent almost two hours at the immigration controls of the airport.
From there, we take a private bus direct to the hotel.
The second day, with the same mini-bus, we had a tour around the city so we could have a perspective of the differences between the diverse parts of the city.
In the following days, we visited lots of places: the fifth avenue, some emblematic shops (we bought almost nothing), some museums like the Met museum, MoMA and others, central park, little Italy, China town,...
We also went to Broadway to see the Phantom of the Opera (which I love) and to the Metropolitan Opera House, this days, performing La Traviata from Verdi.
But what I enjoyed the most, was The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
It's an old aircraft carrier converted into a museum.
There are some helicopters, one space shuttle, some military planes such as the F-16, the F18 hornet and the Blackbird, developed some years earlier in the 51 Area.
You can visit the interior of the incredible and huge ship what is very interesting too.
Outside the ship but at the same place, there is a British Airways' Concorde and the unique nuclear powered submarine in which I entered too.
It was claustrophobic inside but I liked it too.
Six or seven days after our arrival at N.Y, we had to leave.
The return flight was marvelous. Why?
Because we return in the Air France A-380, the biggest commercial plane in the hole world.
I enjoyed very much the flight because of the plane.
I'm anxious to repeat it someday.
In conclusion, a travel to remember with my family and my cousins.
