The number of students received by institutions fluctuates and depends on school levels.

It is important to point out that after the period of obligatory education, which coincides with the beginning of the high school period, a significant proportion of students give up school while others prefer to keep on and continue their studies in vocational or general adapted sections.

Schools, in turn, provide two courses: technological training which aims to prepare students for higher education and vocational training which is rather for professional and occupational integration.

The private sector plays also a very important role in education because it provides training for 20% of all students.

However, the French educational system is still in failure and struggles to overcome difficulties that increase the rate of school failure.

But what are the factors of this tremendous failure?
