1) I'm going to describe chapter 6 of the book, "L.A.
Movie" by Philip Prowser.
2) The chapter starts when Lanny Samuel and Rick walk towards the set, where the scene "climbing of a mountain" is being filmed.
3) An actress was hanging on a rope.
A moment later, there was a loud scream, and she fell to the studio floor!
4) The detective thought Gail Lane was lying on the floor.
5) He felt terrible, because he had been unable to protect her.
6) There was nothing he could do.
7) After that Lanny walked towards some other sets.
The detective didn’t believe!
10 minutes later, he saw her – Gail!
She was in one of the dressing-room and she was absolutely alive and well.
11) But suddenly someone Someone grabbed him from behind and knocked to the floor.
12) It was 2 women, the Gail’s bodyguards.
13) When it was clear that he wasn’t an attacker, he was introduced to the actress as her advisor on the film.
14) As it turned out, the person who had the accident was Gail’s stunt-double.
