Today the vast majority of teachers often try to make their students believe that each subject being learnt at school is extremely useful.

Some people say that is not true, however I cannot disagree with this statement.

It goes without saying, that knowledge, students get at school, is always useful.

First of all, one can never know what the future holds.

Thus, when somebody happens upon some hardships in his life, he will certainly appreciate everything he learnt while studying at school.

For instance, remembering your biology lessons, you can help a passenger who has suddenly fallen and broken his leg or arm, or define an unhealthy product in a shop thanks to chemistry lessons.

What is more, you can set a worthy example to your children: when they see that you studies well yourself learning all the subjects, they will be sure to become like you, since children always aim to be like their parents.

Nevertheless, many students claim that they must focus only on the subjects they will need in accord to their future profession.

However, I totally disagree with this opinion.

Even at high school students often do not know what they actually want.

Therefore, they must be ready for everything and ready to realize they have made a wrong decision.

But in order to be able to overcome such difficulties, they should never pay insufficiently attention to any subjects.

To sum up, I would like to stress again, that even though some subjects may not seem useful, one should always remember that one day the knowledge he gets at school can turn out surprisingly helpful.
