After graduating from college, my father wanted me to attend a training about mineral but more focus on rare minerals such as diamonds and jade so that I can do business in this field.

But it’s my father’s interest, not mine.

At the same time, an old friend in France suggested me to go abroad and to learn different culture and different way of life.

So I decided to joined her and proceed my master degree in France.

I told my parents of my decision but they were strong against.

Then I began to learn French and apply for a visa unbeknown my parents (I began to learn French and apply for the visa holding out on my parents).

Just before leaving, I told them the truth and they were surprised but also proud of me that I can insist on my decision and my perseverance.

But if I meet the same situation, I will try to convince them at first, because don’t let them worry about me.
