Refund
Usually we make samples before the real production to check quality。 As a consequence, there is a sample making fee, we will return this fee to customer, once they make the order.
But there is an exception, the cost won't be returned to them sometimes.
I think there is better expression to say that the money won't be returned to you.
Is it better to use" refund" to express it?
By the way，Is there big different between client and customer?
