Dear Mr. Jones, My name is Lucas.

I am contacting you to apply for the manager position to cover the South-American market.

When I read the advert, I started to search for more information about your company.

I found you on twitter, on Facebook, and also the website.

I believe I could do a good job as your Market Manager for the South-American market, mostly because I know very well the profile of the middle/upper class in that region.

My work in the Brazil-UE Parliamentary group, for example, allowed me to participate in a lot of meetings in Embassies, as well as getting in touch with diplomats and ambassadors.

During my internship in the International Relations Advisory Office of the Argentinean National Congress I was responsible for booking hotels, flights and restaurants whenever the Chairman of the Argentinean Congress needed to go on an international trip.

I also worked organizing meetings with foreign delegations.

And I would say that working as a waiter when I was a teenager gave me a sense of responsibility and how to interact with people that helped me in all my other jobs/internships.

Finally, being a 24 years-old man gives me high energy and motivation for everything I do in my life, and of course, I am web-culture-literate.
