My primary objective on this site is to improve my English, and to get a better general understanding of English grammar.
This is the reason behind writing this text.
My secondary objective on this site is to perhaps get my German, Japanese and Korean studies going.
I haven't really studied enough to be able to form correctable sentences, though.
My tertiary objective on this site is to help other people with their English and Dutch, by correcting their texts and voting on other persons' corrections.
So far, I've learned a few things, and I would say that my primary objective is going well.
I've learned that "off of" should simply be replaced with "off".
A sentence like "he jumped off of a building" would become "he jumped off a building".
I've also learned that you shouldn't end a sentence with a preposition.
