Last week, I received a call from Tom’s wife Amy and she told me that Tom decided to give up smoke since he read an article entitled ‘Cigarette Smoking and Your Heath’ his decision has been serious when he went to catch up with his friend.

Tom told her he did not receive any cigarette or cigar successfully.

After I hanged up, I contacted Tom and made sure he would come to a party on Monday.

After we saw each other, Tom said he would not smoke anymore when I gave a cigarette to him.

People gradually gathered in the party and smoked around him, he looked uncomfortable.

This time, I urged him to accept the cigarette.

He could not bear it and lit it guiltily.

After some time, he told me he had an amusing experience with Jimmy’s meeting.

In place of the cigarette from Jimmy, he produced a packet of sweets from his pocket and Jimmy made no effort to hide his amusement.

Before this time, he refused to smoke a whole week.

The other hand, he had all usual symptom of someone giving up smoking such as a bad temper, an enormous appetite.

Supposing that his wife must have been mad, I told him that it has been the easiest thing in the world to give up smoking.

You Tom have done it lots of times!

The next day, Amy phoned me and she was delighted that things have returned to normal once more.
