How terrifying fact is it!
In Japan, cockroaches often live in our houses.
They sometimes run out from kitchens and scare us.
Many items are sold to kill cockroaches.
Cockroach killing spray "cockroach", poisonous cake for cockroaches "black cap", a small house-shaped structure which has very sticky floor "gokiburi (cockroach) hoi-hoi"...
Most Japanese hate the dirty and nimble creature.
There are some "gokiburi hoi-hoi"s in my house.
I sometimes check inside the structure whether newcomer is inside or not.
And I sometimes felt, "Oh, was he there last week?" when I checked.
Maybe it was the truth. He was alive.
I was about to scream while I was reading the sentence in a train!
