It is thought that children are able to learn more productively just watching TV.

Hence, they ought to be motivated to watch television programs at home as well as at school.

In this essay I am going to discuss the pros and cons of this and state my opinion.

On the one hand, pupils who learn from watching educational videos at school can more easily understand of complex school subjects such as Mathematics, Geometry, etc. Because these kinds of school subject hard to learn from a teacher's explanations and do exercises in a classroom nor at home.

Therefore, in this case, visual explanations in videos help to learn more efficiently, however, without doing certain exercises, this knowledge can be easily forgotten.

On the other hand, a student who watch TV-series or movies which were made by Literature books included in school for educational purpose might learn faster because they do not have to read whole books.

So, in this case study at home from these videos is much easier than by reading books.

However, if a child just watch a video, it is not enough for their development because watching videos does not allow to use their imagination.

This, in turn, is cased the lack of useful skills such as creativity, problems solving, etc which is essential in a real life.

To conclude, in my opinion, watching educational programs helps better understand school subject, however, at the same time is the most important thing not only watch these kinds of videos, but also do exercises which could help to memorize materials and acquire necessary skills for a better life in the future.
