Hi.

Now I will talk about a subject I enjoyed at school.

This subject is History and taught me the teacher Erika Pizarro.

She was very demanding with students.

In fact, only four students had average above six.

Fortunately, I was one of them.

But she was a incredible teacher, knew of all and had a very critic thought.

Well, I enjoyed this subject, because I like the history, know how the things in the past occurred, know how people was in eras different, his thought, ideas, mentalities, lifestyle, etc. I think is important know this, because thus we can understand the present.

I learnt various things with this subject, as physics geography, universal history and Chilean history.

Personally, I liked much universal history, especially, the history of Greeks and Romans, because have a interesting culture.

¡What say about art and architecture! It’s amazing.

Other thing I liked this subject, was read the book Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina by Eduardo Galeano.

This book opened my mind... my teacher is a true teacher, because taught us something that was not in the obligatory subject with the purpose of people make us more critical.
