Hi Craig,
How are you getting on ?
What’s going on in England ?
I’m very enthralled to welcome and host you in Germany next month.
I can recall that your plane lands at half past ten.
As reference the different means of transport, you can take a train at 11 :15 a.m in the airport because Hamburg’s airport owns a railway station.
However whether you miss it you may catch one a quarter of an hour later.
Therefore, you’ll arrive in Hamburg’s central station, you could get on a bus from downtown to my neighborhood located in Hamburg’s western suburb called Blankense.
The bus will drop you off in a bus shelter in front of the river, I’ll certainly pick you up.
The length of the trip will last between 30 and 40 minutes.
The train and bus tickets will only cost you 13 €.
And that’s the cheapest way to come !
Concerning the weather, I watched the weather forecast and it may be a sunny month and even sometimes sultry (around 25° - 28°).
Nevertheless, it might storm and drizzle by the end of summer.
Consequently, I highly recommend you to pack summer clothes however you should bring a raincoat.
Do keep in touch ! Reiner
