Fragments of the letter from the cardinal from the 29 th of August 2014.
Honourable priests, Dear Young people, members of the WYD organisation comitee, I planned a meeting with you this afternoon.
Unfortunately I have to leave earlier than planned.
Due to this fact I can’t meet up with you but I would like to introduce to you my two cooperators the priests: Erwan Simon and Luc Garnier.
I hope you can reflect together upon the possibility of hosting in Cracow a group of pilgrims from our diocesy (about 1 600 people – editorial note) (...)
(....)
From several WYD we contact the hosting parishes much in advance .
This is an excellent opportunity for the cooperation and meetings of the parishioners.
I am alraedy grateful for
the recepcion of my cooperators.
I bless you and entrust the Lord all the preparations for the WYD 2016.
May the Holy Spirit give you light and strength needed.
God bless you!(written in Polish)
