This principle can have advantages as well as disadvantages.

First of all, analyze the good side: the child can learn at their own pace without to be stressed.

He can asks whatever questions he wants because he is lonely.

The teacher adapts himself to the student not to a group of student.

The professor and the child create a link which allows the student to trust.

But despite these advantages, this system knows some problems.

The kid has no social life, he can't make contact, friends, he can't develop team spirit.

The emotional relationship between the parents and the student, which is not neutral as could be that of the teacher, may cause misunderstandings during the reinstatement of the student society.

Thus, we can see that even though the home-schooled the student is able to find a suitable pace, it may eventually be socially destabilizing.
