Last September was organised the referendum about the independence of Scotland.
The referendum had been scheduled more than one year before.
The stakes were high for the scottish population !
In the teeth of Alex Salmond efforts to become free the north of the United Kingdom, the response was was definitely "no".
With a majority of approximately 55%, the "no" has steadfastly won the battle.
Fortunately I would say.
This thorny battle could have been swayed other "minorities" who tend to become independent such as our beautiful french-region Corsica or the region of Catalania in Spain.
It could have been poles apart of the European policy to the extent that the European Union tend to create a kind of unity to weigh more on the international scene.
However, I reckon we have to take into considerations the specialities and particularities of our regions, and do not try to minimise them.
Indeed we have to emphasize them, to create a kind of diversity and why not a rarity which can make attractive them.
