Some years ago, I made a voyage by yatch from Reunion island to Mauritius island.
This two islands are far away each other about 300 km by sea.
We must wait October or November, when the wind is not stronger, to go there.
Here, we named this wind "The Alizés".
We left Reunion at 8 pm and we arrived at Mauritius in the morning, after 12 hours of voyage.
The night the sea is black, and I was afraid.
During the navigation, we listened music, drunk beer and wine, ate a lot of foods.
When someone slept, the other watched out if another boat arrived too near.
When you are on the sea, the one lights you can see are the stars.
If you are lucky to progress below the lune, you can see flight fishs or dolphins.
Mauritius is a small island with more indians natives.
There are a lot of shops of clothes, this is their speciality.
You eat indian spice food or european food.
The trades are not expensive because the Mauritius money is less strong than the Euro.
There are beautiful beatches and not mountains.
The coasts are very tourist with bars and hôtels.
You can also spend your stay at citizen's home and see how they live every day.
It's more interesting because you can meet a lot of people and share your expériences.
It was a great remember.
