I went to a mall to buy a present for my friend’s daughter named Seahui.
This Sunday will be 100th day since seashui was born, so the couple invited their friends to celebrate it.
In South Korea, most parents usually do it.
The only difference is celebrating with who.
Some parents just do it with only family, but others do it with friends as well as family.
A long time ago, medical techniques were not developed much, so many infants were died before 100th day.
This was derived from celebrating about their surviving.
Nowadays, the infant mortality rate is very lower than before, but still Korean parents want to celebrate it.
