On February 1st 1960 I went with my three friends to a cafeteria to reserve in white.
We have been at Woolworth’s department store to made some purchases.
After this, we went to a lunch counter and when we wanted to order a coffee , the waitress told us we couldn’t be served because of our skins colors.
It’s such a humiliation for us !
What do have they more than us ?
What do they have that we don’t ? Nothing.
We asked for drink.
Give us our drinks, and we will pay for it.
We are humans, like them.
I think they don’t know what does equality means.
We are like animals for them , we want Justice !
Justice for black community !
And at this moment, I thought It was the time to be strong, so we stayed until closing time.
We were arrested, but anyway , I did it for my community.
