I want to clarify that "The Main 40s" has nothing in common with an age crisis...
I'm far from my 40s!
The title is referred to a really popular radio programme in Spain.
I'm living in the UK, but I brought with me a piece of my home.
That litle piece is the radio app of "Los 40 Principales" (the original name of the radio station).
You know, now with the internet and so on it is really easy to feel closer to where you've grown up.
I wake up, and when I don't need to go to class, I turn on the radio and I spend a little time just relaxing with the songs that "Los 40" are playing.
Then in the evening or, sometimes, while studying I listen to them again.
They have a specific programme that starts at 11 PM "NTC" (No Te Cortes) which would mean: "Don't be intimidated".
Or maybe to help you get the meaning it would be: "Feel Free".
It is, basically, about people that phone the radio to talk about something that happened to them or all kind of stories, really.
Listening to this show makes me want to work in the radio!
That would be amazing.
Maybe if I go back to Spain I cant get it, who knows?
