As a teenager I can confidently say that in Minsk there are not many places where you can have a lot of fun.
That is why I would like to open an art gallery.
There are a lot of artists who can agree to exhibit their work for free.
Entering will be cheap (15,000 bel. rubles), and when the place become popular, I'm going to open cafe & bookstore on the second floor, where in the evenings can be arranged lectures, poetry readings, or just meeting with interesting people.
A bookstore and cafe gives bookworms the opportunity to purchase their favorite titles, discover new books, and enjoy a beverage and snack.
Target audience - students and high school pupils.
The opening of the gallery does not require huge investments, but creating a café & bookstore is very expensive, so I think without sponsor's it will be hard.
The stress is going be on the cafe, so there will be selling only unusual books, which hard to buy in a common bookstore.
A bookstore and cafe will likely take up a large amount of space.
And the art gallery's location should be visible, easy to get to, and have enough interior space to house several collections of art.
So, I think that the best option is to rent whole building
I have not chosen a style of the interior yet, but most likely it will be the style of 60's or 90's. Thanks!!!
