Introduction: Nowadays, there are many Eco points in our country including those on the  roads and in some buildings.

Even so, we noticed that teenagers waste materials and objects while they could recycle them or give them to the people in need.

So we chose this problem to deal with.

We think it is something that can be improved.

Avoidance and solutions for daily waste: -Take snacks or lunches in reused plastic boxes or bags; -Buy a reused water bottle (cantil); -No waste papers, without using both sides; -Save water while washing hands or taking shower; -Help out with cleaning.

If you don’t through it away on the floor things will be much tidier.

Please put it on the right container, even if you have to walk a bit more!

Make a green footstep!

Useful solutions to our school : -Ask the school board to place more Eco points in the school and put its in each classroom or school hallway (because in our school there are some bins, but the only Eco point we have, is in block C); -Create a club for the collection of old school books to lend to students in need; -Start inter school sharing program for unused materials (pens, colour pens, pencils, school bags and all others things); -Organize a eco campaing to make all be interested and start doing it, it is really easy when you start; -Once a month, people could bring clothes and toys – those that aren’t used anymore, for example – and we could put it into de clothes’ deposit or donate them to charities, such as “Casa-Apoio ao Sem Abrigo”; “Cáritas”; “Humana Portugal”; “Fundação O Século”, “Lojas Humana”, “Casa do Gaiato”, etc.; -Organize a competition at school to encourage people to recycle (in this competition, the participants can use their imagination to create something usual, with unnecessary objects); -Create a site or a course (at school) to teach people how to recycle.

Conclusion: Recycling is something we should start doing now in order to help the coming generations, protect the environment and give all people quality of life.
